You think you’re being nice and doing the right thing. So why do you feel worse❓

We often go silent or with the majority to avoid a sticky situation. Over time, others will take your silence as either not caring, or worse, not valuable. When you’re constantly \”giving in,\” it’s just a matter of time until resentment rears its ugly head.

Instead of staying quiet, ask yourself:

~ Why am I reacting this way? Fear? People Pleaser? (I fall into this category more than I’d like to admit)
~ What opportunities are you missing by not engaging and/or not speaking your mind? Are they worth missing just to \”keep the peace?\”

\”If you avoid conflict to keep the peace, you start a war inside yourself.\” Cheryl Richardson

It may be time to have those difficult conversations even when it’s uncomfortable. You’ll be glad you did.

~ Kathy
